ROOIBOSBULT SAFARI LODGE

On the grassy plains of Limpopo’s Bushveld region in South Africa lies Rooibosbult Safaris, an untamed piece of the motherland and a hunter’s haven. Nestled between Lephalale and Thabazimbi, the family owned property boasts 10 000 acres of pristine wilderness with a magnificent view of the majestic Waterberg Mountain range. Rooibosbult Safari Lodge provides a sought after bow and rifle hunting experience in an environment that offers deluxe accommodation and amenities. The facilities were built and designed to cater for both the hunter and their family.

The Burgers have been into agriculture since 1983. Machiel and Almarie took over the family farming business in 1995 and made it their own. Today they are the proud owners of a successful business in the fresh produce industry, supplying locally and exporting to international markets. They have been married for 23 years and have three (3) children.

In August 2018 they bought the Rooibosbult ranch and started the construction of the lodge in 2019. Family time and their love for the great outdoors is very important to them and their family. They wanted to create an establishment that reflects these values. The layout of the lodge is to accommodate hunters and their families.

At Rooibosbult safari lodge you will find your hosts, Nico and Chloé Mutlow

Nico was raised in the Limpopo bushveld and knows his way around the field. He has lots of experience when it comes to bow- or rifle hunting and is an expert field and nature guide. He has a certificate and diploma in Nature Management, he is qualified in snake identification and handling, he is an excellent and experienced professional hunter. He also has his first aid qualification to ensure our guests safety.

Chloé also grew up in the bush on weekends and loves all animals great and small. She worked in hospitals before coming to work for us. Once offered to work alongside her husband she jumped at the opportunity.
